About Me
About Me
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a magazine editor, an English and writing teacher, and an assistant adjunct professor of American literature. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Mills College, a Master of Arts in English from Portland State University, and a Master of Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. Outside of the office, I am an animal lover and have three rescue dogs I adore. I am also passionate about traveling to new places with my partner and kids. The joy I experience in this work is getting to spend time with people genuinely invested in living the lives they want and being the individuals, friends, workers, partners, or parents they long to be.
